In response to the U.S. Senate’s failure to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act this week, the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB) has produced a number of resources which include a simple way for parishioners to contact Senators to voice their dismay at the failure of our leaders to protect the lives of unborn children, and children who are already born.  These resources may be found at:

Join in the first Virginia March for Life, on Wednesday, April 3, in Richmond.  All are invited to participate in the first-ever Virginia March for Life.  Information about this March may be found here.  On the same day, Bishop Burbidge will be celebrating the 7:00 am Mass at St. Thomas More Cathedral for those who will attend the March, as well as for those who may not be able to travel to Richmond but who wish to participate in a spiritual way in the cause of promoting a greater respect for life, especially the life of the unborn, and the now vulnerable newly-born children in our Commonwealth.
