Last Friday, Saint Agnes celebrated what is fast becoming a beloved tradition:  her Lenten Fish Fry.

Hundreds of Saint Agnes parishioners, friends, and neighbors came hungry and left happy, having enjoyed quite the extensive menu of Fish Friday fare and the wonderful hospitality of our Volunteers.  Among those sampling the fried fish, baked fish, hush puppies and more was our very own new Diocesan shepherd, Bishop Michael Burbidge.  We were honored and happy to host him at the best fish fry in town.

A big thanks is due to Tisha Clark for organizing the event and marshaling volunteers, indoor chefs including Maureen Hodges, Marga Pirozzoli, Jen Kuzdzal, Meg McKnight, Amy Seldin, Anne Nelson, Karen Vasquez, and Rebekah Conroy, and to the many chefs and fry cooks, including Chris Clark, Jim Pirozzoli, Valde Kuzdzal, George Giuseppe, Jon Verneau, and Javier Vasquez.  Thanks as well to our many high school volunteers.
