Fr. Edlefsen Blesses Joe’s Pizza and Pasta on Local Restaurant’s 40th Anniversary
This morning, as Joe’s Pizza and Pasta (Lee Highway) opened their doors to celebrate their 40th Anniversary with the community, Fr. Frederick Edlefsen, pastor, blessed the restaurant and Rosario Farruggio’s, Joe’s owner's, motorcycle. Staff prepared for the day-long celebration as Father made his way through the dining area and kitchen to bless Joe’s on this momentous occasion.
A local favorite, Joe’s is known for their delicious pastas, soups, subs and salads made from homemade recipes out of their family's recipe book back in Italy. They also offer Italian wines and local IPAs, all served up in a relaxing, family-style atmosphere.
Wondering where to get dinner this evening? Go to Joe’s where the buffet is available all day for just $3.99– the same price as opening day. (Dine In Only. Bring the kids!) Check out the menu here.
We at St. Agnes are especially thankful to Joe’s, and specifically Rosario, for their support and delicious food donations, helping make many of our community-wide events a success! Stop by and thank Rosario for his support! Then splurge on deep dish Sicilian pizza and ziti or Mama’s Minestrone. You won’t regret it.
