Lenten Soup Suppers Have Begun in Earnest!
Last Friday, the St. Agnes Choirs served up an array of meatless soups, noodles and more at the first Lenten Soup Supper this year.
The meatless Soup Suppers give soup a good name, having offered New England Clam Chowder, Butternut Squash and Vegetable soups, to name a few. More importantly, the suppers provide an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and dinner during days of Lenten abstinence.
Join us in the Parish Hall every Friday now through March 16th from 5:30 PM – 7 PM for our Soup Suppers. Host groups are the Girl Scouts, Boy Scout Troop 111, St. Agnes Catholic School, and the Spanish Apostolate. Following the suppers are Confessions beginning at 7 PM and Stations of the Cross beginning at 7:30 PM in the Church.
And, don’t forget, the infamous Fish Fry is the last Friday in Lent, Friday, March 23rd, in the Parish Hall. Join us for mouthwatering fish, sides and beer. Stay tuned for more information and to RSVP.
Thank you St. Agnes Choirs for a great start to this years' Soup Suppers, and for all the work you did to offer up some wonderful soups!
