Saint Agnes Donation Drive for Afghan Refugees (June 19-20)

June 3, 2021

This summer Northern Virginia will become “home” to a large number of Afghan families who have been forced to leave their country because of their support for U.S. and Coalition forces during the war there.  These families arrive in the U.S. with only what they can carry.

You can help welcome them by donating household items for the apartments being set up for them by Catholic Charities’ Migration and Refugee Services.  For a list of needed items, please take one of the flyers in the narthex or contact Jean Shirhall ([email protected]).

Donated items can be dropped off at the Parish Center before or after the Masses on June 19-20.
