This choir is open to adults and high school students who would like to lift their voices in praise to God. The choir enhances the sung liturgy by supporting the assembly’s singing, adding harmony, and fostering participation. Music reading skills are greatly appreciated, but not required. The Parish Choir leads sung prayer during 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass and on select Holy Days. Everyone is welcome.
St. Agnes Ensemble
This ensemble is open to adults and high school students who would like to lift their voices in praise to God. It is not necessary to have a musical background to sing in our ensemble. No auditions are required. This ensemble leads sung prayer during 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass and on select Holy Days. Everyone is welcome.
The Resurrection Choir ministers to families by singing for funerals and memorial Masses throughout the year. The group is open to adults of any age with the availability to provide music during the daytime at parish funerals. No auditions are required. Members will be contacted via e-mail or phone as funerals occur. The Resurrection Choir, with the Parish Choir, sings for the annual Mass of Remembrance each November.
The Children’s Choir is open to those children who are in 3rd through 8th grade. This choir rehearses for one hour each week and sings at various Masses. Youth Choir is open to all St. Agnes parishioners.
Junior Children’s Choir
The Junior Children’s Choir is open to those children who are in 1st through 2nd grade. Junior Children’s Choir rehearses for one hour each week and sings at various Masses. Junior Children’s Choir is open to all St. Agnes parishioners.
The Handbell Choir is open to anyone who has the desire to work hard and have fun. The group rings are various Masses throughout the year, including special Holy Days. Music reading skills are helpful but not required. All are welcome to join us!
Cantors lead the music at the ambo during all Masses, including weddings and funerals. Cantors have the privilege of proclaiming the responsorial psalm, among other parts of the Mass. Music reading skills, personal practice time, and dedication to leading the sung prayers of the Mass are necessities. Auditions required.
Skilled instrumentalists are welcome to enhance the music at any Mass. Any instrument is welcome!
