Arts & Crafts Group

Creates items for the Parish Annual Bazaar the proceeds of which support St. Agnes Parish and School.

Catholic Charities Parish Liaison Network (PLN)

Represents Saint Agnes Parish at Catholic Charities Diocesan quarterly meetings. Presents and promotes ministries that emphasize spiritual and corporal works of mercy and the new evangelization. Works as a advocate for those in great need both physically and spiritually through initiative such as Christ House, the Prison Ministry, and I Will Love.
Quarterly Dioscian meetings as announced, and on-going projects in the Parish througout the year.

Christ House Cookie Baking Team

Worthy Of Elegance 6731
Provides 28 dozen homemade cookies for desert at Christ House.
Once a month on Tuesdays or Thursdays before 1:00 PM.

Flower Committee

Flower Committee
Responsible for weekly flower arrangements and daily care of the flowers and plants in the church.
Thursdays 9:45 - 10:00 AM

Kenya Project

Wells Of Love
Provides clothing collections and financial support through an orphan education fund that bestows shoes and education at the Meru Children's Home in Kenya.

This lay apostolate provides door-to-door evangelization, visits nursing homes, makes Rosaries, and prays for those in need.
Meets Mondays at 7:00 PM with a 2-hour weekly service commitment.

Provides Parish support for implementing spiritual and corporal acts of mercy. Helps other apostolates through prayer and evangelization. Develops initiatives that assist pro-life causes and refugee outreach. Works for unity in the Church by encouraging parishoners to identify and use individual charisms to build the Body of Christ. Maintains the Narthex bulletin board.

Provide weekly prayer and Holy Communion service to the residents of Sunrise Nursing Home on Glebe Road.

Identifies missions and social outreach programs to receive financial support through a weekly tithing program.

Cherrydale Prayer Group

Visits, prays with, and brings Holy Communion to the elderly and infirmed residents of Cherrydale Nursing Home.
Mondays and Wednesdays following the 9:00 AM daily Mass.
First Friday Mass at Cherrydale with a priest.

Christ House Homeless Shelter Team

Plans the menu, shops for groceries, cooks, and serves at Christ House in Alexandria. Offers prayer and encouragement to our homeless friends. Plans and conducts a chapel service for all Christ House volunteers.
Once a month on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Meals On Wheels

Mealsonwheels
Volunteers deliver prepared meals to Arlington homebound. MOW is supported by various Arlington churches. St. Agnes currently provides volunteers for seven routes per month. Seven teams of two volunteer once per month.
Currently various Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Migration and Refugee Outreach
